PERSONALITY Lionheart, on outward appearances alone, shows all the traits a well respected warrior should. His bravery is well known, for it is why he gained his very name; he will never back down from a fight, regardless if it's verbal or physical, he is indomitable. Quite a few times, however, his punishments have been viewed as harsh; though, his own brand of repatriation when it comes to members of other clans is to ensure the respect and safety of his own. Along with this, Lionheart refuses to let himself lose anything, due to being the runt of his litter and generally runty amongst all the other clans kits he was often treated with the utmost disrespect and generally taken advantage of; it's lingered in the back of his mind. When he loses, he fears he appears weak, it makes him feel unworthy and essentially worthless as a whole. His outward traits are more of a front, while truly brave, Lionheart has to constantly ignore a tiny voice in his head; his thought on self-worth is barely there, barely held in his mind by strings of his position. Thought it's hard for outright hatred from Lionheart, an exception in the case of his own siblings, he holds grudges for extensive periods of time; and often, they will skew his perspective and judgement, even if it's slightly. Often he is quiet and somewhat solemn, preferring to be with his own thoughts than many others of the clan, though his loyalty and dedication to his position is unwavering. Amongst his bravery lies insecurity, and highly analytical thought processes only seem to make this worse.
- Rainy days and thunderstorms are usually found soothing by Lionheart, outside of flooding season.
- Taking naps by the river, falling asleep to the sound of the water lapping against the rock. He finds it to be his own personal lullaby.
- Same as most other Riverclan cats, he enjoys swimming in the warmer seasons.
- Other male cats, Lionheart tends to not associate with many of his female clan mates.
- Victory, no matter what it may be in.
DISLIKES
- Cowardice in any form. He believes it is a Warrior's duty to stand their ground at all times; though even he himself gets scared quite often.
- His siblings are detested, even though he has risen above them now, the disdain still is clear.
- Being bested in anything, it makes him feel weak and essentially unworthy of his position.
- Flood season. The river has flooded a few times before, almost drowning quite a few members of the clan in it's happening.
- The smell of mouse bile absolutely disgusts him.
HOPES
- Hopes to help his clan stay prosperous.
- To eventually become leader of Riverclan, though he is pleased with his deputy position.
- That his apprentices become fearless warriors; instilling a virtue, of sorts.
FEARS
- He fears losing any fight that he may happen to be involved in; whether it be verbal or physical. Being the runt out of his siblings and many others, losing always was commonplace for him, thus leaving resentment.
- Appearing weak; holding such a position, apparent weakness could be very unnerving to the clan, and due to past experiences it's highly undesirable.

CAUSE I DO KNOW
from you that just died, I saw that day, lost my mind
HISTORY Lionheart was born into a litter of three, two males and one female. Growing up with them, Lionkit was generally ostracised and essentially bullied, for he was one of the runtiest kits born into Riverclan and it's vast history. He quickly learned that it was commonplace to lose when you were little, when others had an undeniable advantage against you. Though, this fostered the aspect of bravery he holds so dear in present day; even though he knew of coming defeat, he would always try to win regardless. For a war lost without a fight is one without dignity; though, this became an exterior trait. This gained much attention, although silent and observant, from the clan's former deputy; Riverheart. At the age of 6 moons, it was requested by Riverheart that Lionkit become his very own apprentice; transitioning to the name of Lionpaw. Naturally, the two were close; though, Riverheart seemed to open up a part of himself to Lionpaw that no one else had the grace of seeing. With Lionpaw he could speak freely, his solemn and ever watching exterior broke apart; and it was always made sure, one virtue was instilled into his apprentice. For his philosophy was simple, no matter what you possessed, it could not be acted upon without bravery, the courage to act on what you knew was to be done, whether or not others would follow in your paws. Adhering to Riverheart's philosophy, he began to grow even more resemblance, some even reffered to him as a second Riverheart; which neither minded. His tactical and analytical prowess impressed Riverheart so; at the age of 9 moons he was christened Lionheart. Even with his new found title, he still trudged through large amounts of disrespect, still viewed as the weak little runt by some of the clan; even when taking on an apprentice at the age of 16 moons. But as taught, he held his head high and didn't back down. Life continued this way for quite some time; until Lionheart became deputy of Riverclan at the age of 22 moons. Riverheart had a violent altercation with a stray dog on a territory patrol; the resulting wounds became horridly infected, due to improper treatment by the at-the-time inexperienced medicine cat. Soon after Riverheart's death it was decided that Lionheart would become deputy of Riverclan; for he had essentially become the second embodiment of Riverheart, maybe even more capable that his predecessor; Lionheart heavy heartedly took to his new position of power within the clan... And with it, just maybe, he could turn around all the wrongs committed against him; though only time would tell. Life carried on as usual, respect in his general direction heightened, even if just slightly.
