APPEARANCE Hazelbrook is a slightly bulky American Shorthair. She has a lot of muscle on her legs, mainly at the shoulders which are very, very useful when it comes to swimming. She has a small tear in the center of her right ear which is from the tip to about midway down the visible ear, this scar was earned in a battle with a group of foxes. Hazelbrook's coat color is a silvery blue-grey with thick, slightly darker tabby stripes which fan out from her back down her sides. Hazelbrook's eyes are hazel with green flecks, but the flecks are only visible at close range.

PERSONALITY Hazelbrook is a very, very shy cat who would rather do everything on her own, away from all other cats. When she is battle training she tends to ask whoever she is training with if they can go somewhere away from others to train, because she hates being watches. When she's hunting she tends to slip far away from the patrol and hunt somewhere that she can be solitary, even if it means she cannot catch very much prey. During gatherings she always sits in the back of the group, she rarely talks to cats from other clans, for she cannot stand them. Around cats that Hazelbrook finds to be very good friends she is rather bubbly and happy towards them, but around other clan members she is seen as a very dreary downer, which sometimes ticks Hazelbrook off. When Hazelbrook wants to be, she can be a very good leader but this skill of leading is virtually unknown when it comes to cats of RiverClan because none of them really get to see this in Hazelbrook because of her chronic shyness. In battle Hazelbrook goes from shy to a raging beast, in battles she seems to forget her personality entirely and just slashes at every enemy she can get her paws on, which surprises most cats that don't know her very well.

HISTORY Hazelbrook's history starts with a secret that she has kept to herself for only StarClan knows how long, she is not pure RiverClan. Her father was a ShadowClan cat, she thinks this is where she got her battle lust from, but she isn't really sure. She was the only surviving kit in her mother's litter, for it was her mother's first. She was also the runt of the litter. Her mother cared for her well and tried to make her stronger but Hazelbrook was always a puny little thing. Hazelbrook was looked down upon by other kits, they never allowed her to play with them. This caused Hazelbrook to become shy, since she never interacted with unknown cats as a kit she now doesn't interact with any unknown cats as an adult. Hazelbrook became an apprentice at 8 moons instead of 6 because her mother insisted that she needed to become larger and stronger before she could learn to fight and hunt for herself, this didn't bother Hazelbrook much at the time, but it does now. Hazelbrook was mentored by the tom who was posing as her father, Hazelbrook hated him. Whenever Hazelbrook did badly he threatened to tell the entire clan her secret. This caused Hazelbrook to really want to please him, and she did. Her abilities soared past the other apprentices in the clan, even those who were much older than she was. Her mother thought it was because Hazelbrook was just a skilled cat, but Hazelbrook couldn't bear to tell her mother the truth of it all. Hazelbrook became a warrior after a battle with foxes where she saved another apprentice and also got a scar down her ear. There isn't much to say about Hazelbrook's days as a warrior except that she is very skilled in battle and hunting because of her apprenticeship, but she hasn't accomplished much of interest. Yet.
